Ongoing Conflicts and Disputes:
Ongoing territorial disputes over the Faroe Islands (with Iceland, UK and Ireland), Hans Island (with Canada) and the Arctic (with Canada, Norway and Russia). Concerns about the role of Denmark in the War on Terror. In 2012 an investigation into the use of Danish territory for rendition flights of the CIA was announced. The investigation was, however, severely restricted. Other concerns include the treatment of refugees and asylum seekers.
